Da Young Lisa Park is a queer, first generation Korean-American woman. Growing up she spent most of her time playing outside, watching films and compulsively reading books. Hiding behind the page and tv screen was an escape from her chaotic home life. At a young age, Lisa found joy in sharing stories and making others laugh (voted class clown in junior high and high school) which has transferred over to her artistic endeavors as an adult.

As a writer, actor and filmmaker, she strives to share stories of truth, love and messy emotions with humor, originality and candor. In doing so, she hopes to connect with others so they’ll feel a little less lonely, angsty and crazy in this wild, weird and wavy world.

These days she enjoys spending her time writing, acting in front of the camera, playing behind the camera, rock climbing mountains, playing the bass guitar, reading in bed, running to quiet her existential angst and taking an afternoon cat nap. She also enjoys writing in the third person.

Lisa recently completed her first dramedy pilot based on her eccentric family upringing. She’s also written a short film titled ‘Date Night’, ‘Take Your Medicine’, a spec script for the TV series DAVE and is currently writing her first feature screenplay. Scripts are available upon request.
